Recently, attorney Gabriel Sepulveda-Sanchez appeared on Court TV to discuss the murder case where Brandon Castiglione allegedly fatally shot Luis Garcia, a pastor of New England Pentecostal Ministries Church in the neck on October 1, 2019. Garcia was found at Castiglione’s home at the time of his death.
Castiglione, who’s now 29, is charged with second-degree murder and also charged with one count of recklessly causing Garcia’s death. He has pleaded not guilty and has been behind bars since his arrest in October 2019.
The front door was locked by deadbolt and the two knew each other.
When asked about the defense’s strategy, Gabriel commented that the arguments used about the gun having been handled by an officer against procedure were unlikely to have any meaningful impact on the jury’s opinion, but that the defense was still doing their job, trying to raise reasonable doubt and possible inconsistencies in the investigation.
